Most of our time is devoted to treating patients who are not happy with the appearance of their smile. They often have discolored, broken, worn, or missing teeth. Many diseases are being diagnosed earlier because of warning signs seen in the mouth - diabetes, heart disease, certain cancers, AIDS, etc. You would probably be surprised to learn how all things you do every day- the foods you eat, the habits you have, the medications you take, the vitamins or herbs you use - can affect your oral health as well as your over-all health.
